I've enjoyed doing this prompt malarkey. 

Might make it my mission to find another challenge to replace it.... saves me thinking about what to draw, and provides welcome relief from the stuff I'm paid to draw. (Unicorns this week. Oh fuck off unicorns, I hate you with a passion!)

Getting carried away with Betty Bunny when really I should be drawing boring farm animals and jungle stuff for clients.

There are only so many times you can draw a "commercial" cow and a sodding tiger without wanting to kill someone.

Week three of the monthofmayb thing.

Gone clean and simple this week. Don't know about you but I'm so bored of seeing everything done in procreate these days. It all looks the bloody same!! Adobe Illustrator for the win I say!

fix it

This week Alf needed me to fix his trousers. But the sewing machine broke after only half fixing them. 
So then I took the sewing machine apart and I fixed it with my own fair hands!! (Too late for half the trousers cos Alf had buggered off back to uni. But…)
And then I fixed my mum’s sweetie bracelet. Twice. Cos it broke again the first time. 
I was immensely proud of the fixed sewing machine, bracelet and half trousers.
Until today.
Today an absolutely amazing surgeon fixed my niece. 
My fixy stuff was completely insignificant in comparison.
Thank you so much Dr Fung. We bloody love you!

little day out

I had a lovely day out on Friday. I met my friend Rosie and we 'did lunch' then went to the WYPW's "print day" where we visited the fabulous studio of Janine Burrows AND I got to meet her for the first time. (She did not disappoint.)

Then I went for a carvery with my sister and nephews. Cos we love a Sunday dinner on a Friday.

And I had a lovely day out yesterday. In a beer garden. Coronation celebration and all that.

It's another bank holiday tomorrow. I'm thinking I might have to do some work though. Bank holidays don't count when you're self employed ...and you already had your quota of days out for the week.

I got carried away with the secondary and thirdary pieces for the monthofmayb challenge thing.

I'm excellent at coming up with options. Less so at picking one...

I'm liking this challenge cos on a Tuesday you do a main illo...then add a secondary piece on a Thursday...and a thirdary piece on a Saturday.

I liked having a bit of a direction on what to draw. Usually I just draw random stuff when I do personal work, these feel a little more planned and finished.

So I'm gonna join more insta challenges and give my brain a rest from having to think up what to draw. Which is mainly bunnies or birds. Cos it's lazy.
