back to normal

Up to date with all my work (after lots of late late nights) and Neil's home (he rode 226 miles coast to coast, well done gorgeous x) Finally might get chance to play with my new phone now :-)

late nights

Well, thanks to the fantastic stay at Titanic Spa, the 4 hours I spent queuing for the new iphone4 (I know! omg! That's 4 hours of my life I'll never get back!!) and the fact that Neil's away for the weekend on his bike (so can't look after the little people)....I'm having a few late nights to finish my work.
Luckily I'm really enjoying what I'm doing at the mo :-)
Ready for bed though.....in a couple of hours....zzzzz

Sooo busy!
Doing some fab work which I'm really enjoying....but gotta break off now 'cos tomorrow I'm taking my sis to the Titanic Spa for the night. Yay!! We are so giddy, it's my present to her for the special birthday she had a couple of weeks ago. (Excellent idea, a pressie I can share!)

Happy Father's Day to my Dad (on hols in Hawaii!!) and the lovely Neil.
Had a brill day at Newby Hall in North Yorkshire, had to drag the kids away...they didn't want to come home!

saturday park-day

We always go to the park on a Saturday. Poppy the puppy always comes with us too these days.
Today it was just me and my sis and our 5 kids ...so not too many little people fighting over their turn to hold the lead...

My lovely friend came today and bought me the most beautiful flowers (orchids actually...nothing like the flowers here! he he)

lovely day had by all

The school trip was fab!
We went to the great yorkshire show ground where they were having a countryside day for about a million schools.
We did loads of country related activities and saw a brill "sheep show".
Jodie's fave bit was handling the baby pygmy hedgehogs.

My fave bit was the conversation I had with 8 yr old Kirk about cheese being our absolute favourite.
Kirk: I love love love cheese.
Me: So do I, do you like Stilton?
Kirk: No.
Me: What's your favourite cheese?
Kirk: Er....grated.
ha ha ha!

school trip

My little Jodie-pie leaves First School next month....Middle School for her in September!
It's the leaver's "secret trip" tomorrow and I managed to book my place as a helper. (Can't tell you where we're going though or I'd have to kill you!)
Hoping that the sun will be shining on us!

all partied out

We had a fab time last night. We managed to stay at the party till 1am....just as it was really getting going! 
Apparently it went on till 7.30am!! 
1 am was late enough for us, don't know how they managed to stay up all night!
The little people should sleep well tonight!

Neil's sister has bowed to pressure. 

At first she said that no way was she having the football on at her party....then people said they weren't going if she didn't have the football on.....NOW she's having the football on at her party!

Hope she's got a big screen :-)

Off to Sheffield tomorrow for Neil's sister's 40th. Booked a hotel and we're staying over. Yay... another weekend away!

Our neice had a baby on Friday... little baby Bailey. We went to visit him tonight, he is gorgeous!

Oooh how lovely is the new iphone 4?
As luck would have it I'm due to upgrade my mobile on 12 June....and the release date for the iphone is 24 June....I am so gonna get one :-)

We had a fab weekend!
But the trouble with letting your children stay up late whilst on holiday is that they sooo don't wan't to go to sleep at their normal bedtime when they get home. The little horrors have just stopped jumping out of bed.....I'm not looking forward to the morning!

all shopped out

It has been a week of much shopping...Monday, took the kids for new school shoes, Tuesday, took Jojo and Becks shopping for Jodie's wedding outfit for Auntie Louise's wedding...got the frock and sandals but there was a power cut before we got to the till with the sequinned shrug....so Wednesday, went back to get it, and got myself a new top while I was at it :-)
Today... M&S for some nice food for our trip to Centreparcs tomorrow.
Exhausting!

Happi-Star

My friend had a baby, Happi-Star, a few weeks ago. She was born at 29 weeks so has been in hospital ever since...but she's home now!
Her nursery is Gingerbread from Mamas and Papas and since I designed the characters it was only right I should do little Happi her own little pic for the wall.
Finished it last night....taking it round tomorrow, can't wait to meet her!
