taxi service

Today I will mostly be appearing as Mum's Taxi Co.
..Taking JodiePie to a party in deepest, darkest Bradford... coming home for like 20 minutes then going back to pick her up... taking Alfonzo to another party... taking Jodie to pony club... picking Alf up from the party... picking Jode up from the horsey place......THEN dropping them both at Nana's where I will leave them for the night ...and my life will be my own again, woohoo!

too dark

Glad the posting date got moved cos I've been trying to take photos of my sketchbook since Friday and it's just been too dark! It's dull and miserable and rainy rainy rainy but it better get light tomorrow cos I am gonna get the book in the post.

Phew! Done it!
Except they only went and extended the deadline this aft!! Doesn't have to be posted till Tuesday now!
Anyway I ignored the email saying I could have longer and got it finished.....WOOHOO!!
The house is a tip, I've got a pile of ironing, the fridge is empty, the kids and Neil need serious attention....but hey, I finished the sketchbook so all is good :-)
Weekend>>> here I come!

gonna get it done

I have never ever missed a deadline ever.
But I have never been one to do it early and get it out of the way.
My sketchbook will follow the same pattern. The posting deadline is Saturday....I have seven double page spreads and the cover left to do.
As luck would have it as of 7pm today I am up to date with all my work, woohoo!
So I can spend all day tomorrow on getting the job done...well in between school runs and dropping my car off at the garage and sorting the kids out and getting my car back and feeding little people etc etc...
Watch this space!

what happened to "just say no"...

...still at it....work, kids, sketchbook, chaos.....house a tip and I'm knackered!
14 double pages to go......in 5 days....OMG!

uh oh!

....forgot how busy January is.... how's a girl meant to finish her sketchbook in time for the deadline when she has loads of work to do? 
AND closing school early 'cos of a bit of snow does not help!
Looking like late nights for me.
But at least I've reached the halfway point....

I've set the bath running.
This is to force me to put the sketchbook away and have an early night.
If not I don't know how I'll get up in the morning.
I've got so used to the lovely lie-ins this Christmas and I'm not looking forward to setting the alarm....

too much of a good thing

Ok, the Christmas holidays were fab, we've had lots of quality time together, done loads, been allover, had much fun, lots of laughs... etc etc etc......but you can have too much of a good thing and I now need quality time with myself!
I've run out of entertaining ideas, run out of cash and run out of patience so if you little people could go back to school that would be great!


One more day and the house will be mine again yay!

ps... can a sketchbook about dogs and cats have something other than dogs and cats in it? Getting a tad sick of them, we all know bunnies are my favourites....

Had a fab night last night....well, the bits I can remember were fab....and I have photographic evidence that I had a good time.
And now the hangover's gone I'm looking forward to 2011!
