Ken

Our friend died on Friday. He was only 41. He had cancer. The NHS fobbed him off for 2 years before he was finally diagnosed, by which time it was too late. He left a lovely wife and 3 children, the youngest is only three.
It's so sad and so unfair.
Rest in peace Ken xxx

  9. that is devastating news. My thoughts are with the family.

I get angry when I hear stories like this-I think doctors are very unreliable when it comes to diagnosing things. My husband just had a cancerous ulcer removed from his face earlier this year...he'd gone to the docs 3 times about over a 10 year period with the same diagnoses each time.... it's just a wart. Eventually he was referred to specialist and they, straight away, got him in to have it removed.

  10. Sorry to read about your friend. I too had problems with the NHS. I was going to my GP for over 4 years before I finally got a diagnosis of bowel cancer. I was one of the lucky ones and although this year has been tough at least my family have not had to go through what you and your friends family have been through. My thoughts are with you x
