public transport adventure

Yesterday me and my sister and our good friend Joanne and 8 kids went on a half term public transport adventure. We crossed West Yorkshire on buses and trains and arrived at a park in Ilkley. It chucked it down. Sideways. And it was freezing. Undeterred we bought ourselves an M&S picnic and ate al fresco. Then we retraced our steps on buses and trains. Standing up. We forgot that people finish work and need to go home on a Friday afternoon.
We were WELL GLAD to see our car at the bus station.
Still....beats staying home with a DVD and a pile of ironing...
